Hôtel Tiara Yaktsa Côte D'azur

Overall the hotel was excellent. I will however say that for the price of the rooftop room (approx. $1500 per night), the noise level made the outdoor space not so enjoyable. The noise of the busy road next to the hotel, the noise of the neighbors partying etc. made us have to go inside although the point of getting that room is to be outside. This is not something that can be controlled by the hotel but the price of the room should reflect this downside.

Far overpriced! Hidden fees? I wasn't expecting to be charged €35 "pool charge" when I didn't use the pool, sit by or near the pool. It was for sitting on the terrace 2 flights of stairs above the pool, where you can't even really see the pool. Just grabbing money any chance they can get. I had a sea view suite. Window glass smashed and staff said don't worry, it happens all the time. Shower had no hot water. I was standing in my bathrobe 10:30pm and male staff member in my room saying I didn't know how to use a shower, arguing with me!. Said I'd have to wait until repair man in the morning. Very poor communication over my entire stay. Great views and good food, but I didn't like the vibe. Staff seemed scared and unhappy. I don't think I'd stay again. Too many problems and the money grabbing upon check-out for unexpected charges the last straw. I paid €950 per night.

This is an amazing property that just needs a bit of updating. Modern luxury hotels have proper technology and facilities these days. Just needs some TLC and would be great if they devoted more than 10 sq m to a fitness center. It is not a particularly convenient location so important that it can be self contained, not so much at the moment.
